Marco Catani is a clinical neuroscientist with expertise in the field of neuroanatomy, tractography, and neuropsychiatry. Professor of Neuropsychiatry at the University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy and he held a professorship at King’s College London until 2023.
He pioneered diffusion tractography to describe brain network alterations in autism and ADHD and to redefine the anatomy of language, visuospatial processing, emotions and behaviour in neuropsychological disorders.
Recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the Norman Geschwind Prize by the American Academy of Neurology, he served as the Editor of the brain section for the last two editions of Gray’s Anatomy.
His work has been featured in major international media, and he actively collaborates with researchers globally.
